A year in review! As we reflect on 2025, we fondly revisit the wonderful moments shared with our loved ones and celebrate Hawaiian Party! the memories that brought us closer together. It was a year filled with joy, connection, and heartfelt experiences that we will cherish for years to come. With the new year ahead,

Winter Wonderland!

We want to express our gratitude to everyone who joined us for our Winter Wonderland Production last month. With a full audience, our residents joyfully performed for their loved ones by singing Christmas songs that touched hearts and shared holiday cheer. The room was filled not only with graceful melodies but also with laughter and delight, creating a truly unforgettable afternoon for all who attended. After our magical production, we hosted a delightful cookie party. The warm scent of freshly baked treats drifted through the room as everyone enjoyed celebrating the joyful spirit of Christmas. We also held an Ugly Sweater Contest for residents to participate in. Congratulations to our winner, Doug! Thank you to our volunteer, Charlie, and to the production team, Kim, Ane and Vickie who generously gave their time to ensure this event was memorable and successful for both residents and families.

Santa’s Helpers!

We would like to take a moment to recognize our Santa Helpers during the Christmas Season. Last month, the St. Mary & St. Mina Church Girl Scouts joined us for crafts, enjoyed playing games, and handed out gifts to our residents. Their energy, kindness, and warm spirits brought immeasurable happiness. The residents truly appreciated spending time with the Girl Scouts. Laughter echoed throughout the community as wonderful memories were created. We also want to recognize the efforts of the McMullen Booth Elementary School students. These Singing Santa Helpers came to our community to share Christmas carols with our residents. Their cheerful presence left our audience captivated and delighted as they spread joy and sparked bright smiles throughout our community. These children visit us during holidays throughout the year. Be sure to watch for their next visit to our community. Their presence is sure to lift your spirits.

She went on to pursue higher learning with remarkable commitment, earning degrees from SUNY at Albany and Seton Hall University, and later attending Fordham University, where she successfully completed her Ph.D. “The Treasures of Montauk Cove” taught French, Latin, and English as a Second Language. Diane devoted approximately 25 years to a distinguished career in education within the Ramapo School District in New York, where she After relocating to Florida with her husband in 1986, she embraced a new chapter by focusing on writing and pursuing her long-held passion for mystery novels. She is the accomplished author of The Montauk Mystery, The Montauk Steps, The Treasures of Montauk Cove, and The Cinderella Murders, which she considers her personal favorite. She is a proud mother of two, grandmother of four, and great grandmother of two.
