A Monthly Look Inside Aravilla Clearwater
Happy Easter!
This month we celebrate the sacred holiday of Easter on April 5th. Here at Aravilla Clearwater, we offer Sunday services each week at 3:00 PM in the Aravilla’s Promenade with Pastor Troy. For many of our residents, faith has played a significant role throughout their lives and continues to bring comfort, hope, and community. Easter is a meaningful time to reflect on renewal, joy, and the blessings we share together. We welcome everyone to participate in celebrating the meaning of Easter with Pastor Troy.
Prior to the service, at 2:00 PM, we will hold our Easter egg hunt for residents in the Promenade and surrounding areas. Get your walking shoes on and get ready to hunt for colorful eggs filled with sweet and delicious surprises. You are sure to discover an egg filled with something that will satisfy your sweet tooth. During the egg hunt, you may even spot the Easter Bunny hopping by. If the Easter Bunny doesn’t hop away too quickly, be sure to take a picture to remember this special day. After the egg hunt, we will continue the celebration with delightful treats and drinks for everyone to enjoy. We hope you will gather with your loved ones on this holiday and create beautiful memories to last a lifetime.

Get Ready for Arvilla’s Cornhole Tournament!
This month at Aravilla, we are excited to launch our Cornhole Tournament! Our enthusiastic senior residents are ready to pick up their bean bags, take aim, and see how many tosses land in the hole. It promises to be a month filled with friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of fun.
Tournament Schedule:
- Begins: April 7th at 10:00 AM
Our Activities Team will track scores throughout the tournament, and special prizes will be awarded to the top three winners at the conclusion of the event. - Games: Every Tuesday at 10:00 AM
- Final Round: April 21st at 10:00 AM
Join us for some friendly competition as we cheer on our participants and celebrate the spirit of the game.

2026 Putt Putt Golf Tournament Winners!
Last month, we hosted our 4th Annual Putt-Putt Golf Tournament. Congratulations to the winners of this month’s competition. These tournaments offer our memory care residents a fun and engaging experience while encouraging the development of important skills such as coordination, confidence, mental wellness, teamwork, and strengthening connections within our community. Events like this highlight the value of recreation in fostering connection, personal growth, and a sense of belonging. We look forward to many more opportunities that bring everyone together.

Resident Spotlight:
“Frances D.”
We are delighted to celebrate Frances D. as a cherished member of our Aravilla family!
Frances was born in Panacea, Florida, a small coastal community near Tallahassee. She later moved to Mobile, Alabama, where she spent her formative years and graduated from boarding school.
Frances went on to build a long and successful career in Tallahassee, working for an asphalt company for over 30 years. During this time, she developed a reputation for dedication and professionalism. She later met her husband, Forrest of Dean Roofing Company and the two eventually made their home in Clearwater, Florida. An interesting distinction in Frances’s life is that she was the first woman to become a Florida State Golden Chief. The Golden Chiefs are known for their support of Florida State University, and Frances has remained a devoted and enthusiastic fan of the university ever since.
Frances enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and traveling with her daughter. She has visited Greece, Italy, Ireland, and several other destinations; however, St. Martin has remained her favorite annual vacation spot. We are truly delighted to have Frances as part of our community and warmly invite everyone to welcome her. Her kind spirit and genuine smile are truly infectious.
